A Message from KJN

I hope this finds everyone in good health and spirit!

Welcome to all new members of Pyong Hwa Kunin Tang Soo Do in 2025, there is so much ahead for you.  I am extremely proud of all who have continued their journey in our beautiful art. 

Last year, we saw continued growth in our PHK Family, we had hundreds of Gup and Dan promotions throughout the year.   I look forward to the continued success and advancement of all our members in 2025.

I will be visiting our member schools and I am excited for the opportunity to work with the all the Dan and Gup students.  
       
We  have great leadership from our Studio Owners, Master Instructors and Dan members; they work everyday to make a positive change in the lives of our students. Students, you must do your part; first, show up train hard second, step up and get involved in all events both within and outside of your Dojang. 

Our goal is as always, to improve our communities one black belt at a time. I wish everyone continued a health, happiness and success in 2025!

Great Grand Master Song Ki Kim and Great Grand Master Mariano Estioko lead us on this journey.  This was a historical event for Pyong Hwa Kunin members.  We travelled to the birth place of our art Tang Soo Do.  We trained at the famous SongTan Dojang just outside of Osan Airbase, the Palace Fortress in Suwon and on the island of Jeju.   

​Great Grand Master Song Ki Kim's,
Simple but profound advice on Tang Soo Do training. He said, "If I don't train today, I'll know.  If I don't train the next day, a friend will know. If I don't train for 3 days, everyone will know. So, always focus on training."
